HPO-250/HT

Hardness tester HPO-250/HT is intended for measurement of hardness with the Vickers method according to standard STN EN ISO 6507 and the Brinell method according to standard EN ISO 6506. The device is intended to measure of metal hardness and non-ferrous metals hardness in workshop spaces. 

Range of measuring methods:

  • Vickers (HV5, HV10, HV15, HV20, HV30, HV40, HV50, HV60, HV100, HV120 according to standard EN ISO 6507)
  • Brinell (HBW1/10; HBW2.5/15.62; HBW2.5/31.25; HBW2.5/62.5; HBW2.5/187.5; HBW5/250 according to standard EN ISO 6506) at room temperature 20°C ±5°C.

After starting the measurement, the mechanism of the device will be set to the position with the indenter and after finishing the measuring cycle, the mechanism will be set to the position with the objective. The created indent will then appear on visual field of the focusing screen. After setting appropriate tangents and reading the necessary indent parameters on the screen and the micrometric screw of the device, we will obtain the value of material hardness using the conversion tables.
